Leadership Development
Day Camp Helpers
Offered all 8 weeks
Ages 13 - 15 $75 / week
Have you loved going to Day Camp? Are you striving to one day be the best counselor you can be? Join us for the Day Camp Helper program. Helpers will assist the Day Camp counselors with camper groups and day camp programs. Most of the Helpers’ time will be spent working and learning, but there will be some opportunity to participate in activities.
All Day Camp helpers are asked to fill out an application and complete an interview with the Camp Director and Day Camp Director.
LIT (Leaders In Training)
June 28 - July 17
Ages 15 - 18 $580 for 3 weeks
Looking for more out of the Canonicus experience? Are you striving to one day be the best counselor you can be? Join us for the LIT programs. Leadership calls for a combination of skills, which require practice.
This 3-week overnight training program is designed to develop foundational leadership skills, such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving through discussion, play and practice. An application is required for acceptance into this program, as well as an interview with the Camp Director and Overnight Camp Director.
You must participate in all 3 weeks of this program to successfully complete the Leaders-In-Training program. You will be presented with a certificate after week 3.
