| Green & Rathbun Lodges make up the area named the Family Life Center, which
is nestled in a little private alcove of Canonicus property, a casual stroll from our
fields and beautiful lake. The
lodges are practically twins with each one's facilities mirrored in the other.
Outside there are open areas for gatherings and games and even a volleyball net
permanently set up and waiting for players.
Each lodge has 18-20 beds in 6
rooms. Green Lodge has two 3-bed rooms and four 4-bed rooms, while Rathbun Lodge has
four 3-bed rooms and two 4-bed rooms. The total beds for all lodgings is 80 beds
(including Pierce-Meadowwood Conference Center and overflow).
Each room is air-conditioned.
Many rooms have private basins in them (this in addition to the shower & toilet
facilities). Green lodge is fully wheelchair accessible, while Rathbun is partially
wheelchair friendly. There is a kitchenette with microwave, coffee machine, small
refridgerator and sink. The kitchenette is off the lounge/meeting area (417.5 sq.
ft). There is a television and video machine in each lounge, but other audio-visual
equipment is available should it be required.
