The
Canonicus campus is situated on over 300 acres of pristine beauty. The site has an
ideal mix of fields, woodland and water. The 20-acre Lake Adams forms the
centerpiece to what is essentially a slice of natural grandeur. A relaxing stroll around the property will
demonstrate the splendor of nature. We share our property with many small animals,
several turtles and wild deer. Looking closer, you might find some
interesting creatures crossing your path as you meander around the property.
Over 80% of the property is wooded
and several walking trails have been made over the years so that you can truly find a
secluded little spot. Lake Adams is a popular place to sit,
meditate and relax.
Amongst all of this natural
beauty, there are secluded places for worship & gathering, summer camp
shelters, a modern conference center and several retreat lodges.
During the summer,
Lake Adams offers shallow and deep end swim
areas within its docks under the supervision of certified lifeguards, as
well as fishing, canoeing and boating. At night, you might
even want to finish your day around a comforting bon fire at the
Council Ring (pictured below).
While enjoying the
natural beauty of Canonicus, you can truly sense your
belonging with
all God has made.
