Camperships

Canonicus believes EVERYONE should have the opportunity to experience camp at Canonicus this summer!

You have 3
options for seeking financial assistance to attend Canonicus. The first option is to contact your local church or public service agency. Most have special funding set aside just for kids who want to attend camp and they are willing to provide financial assistance to families that need help with the fees associated with camp.  We encourage you to check with your church or agency first to see if such aide is available.

If your church or local agency is unable to help, or if you need additional assistance, your second option is to request camperships directly from Canonicus. These funds come from caring people who donate or endow money specifically dedicated for camperships so youth do not miss out on the experience of the Christian camping ministry at Canonicus.  Many of these donors were campers or staff members themselves and have a personal love for our camp ministry.  It is because of their generosity that we can offer youth the needed funds to attend camp.

The third option is designed especially for children of camp alumni or those attending an American Baptist church and it is called the Warren L Adams Memorial FundIf anyone in your family previously attended, worked at camp, or currently attends an ABCORI church then you are eligible to apply for these special funds.

You can download all necessary applications below.

If you wish to contribute to the Canonicus campership fund through a tax deductible gift, please contact our Director of Administration, Liz Lussier, at 401-294-6318 ext.100 or via email.
