DAY CAMP...not day care! 

At Canonicus, Day Camp is not considered day care!  Parents of Day Campers and the campers themselves all agree that a day at Canonicus is a day full of adventure, friends and fun.

We offer a variety of programs for campers to enjoy ~ even our youngest Day Campers, ages 4 - 6, are challenged to grow and experience a wide variety of activities at Canonicus!  For the campers' benefit, we group campers by age and grade to ensure similar developmental experiences.  Click on the following links to see a listing of our Day Camps according to grade and by week.

Whether you are registering for one of our specialty camps or Day Discovery (our basic day camp program), there is much to do and experience at Canonicus.   With over 300 acres of property and a 20-acre lake, you'll be able to get out in the open air, run, play, meet new friends and experience God in creation and through learning about His Word, the Bible. Each week will have a different theme, so whether you come to camp for week 1 or week 8 (or all of them!), each day will be exciting and different.  Canonicus is a safe, enriching place where young people begin to know God, grow in their faith and come to experience things for the first time.  Many a camper has returned summer after summer to grow in their faith and enjoy the beauty of Canonicus in new ways!   Some of our most dedicated staff counselors were once Day Campers themselves! 

Summer & Weekly Themes:
Our entire summer camp theme for 2008 is focused around the word 'Indescribable.'  Day campers will come to know more about God.

Each Day Camp week also has a program theme that shapes its activities around weekly Biblical themes and fun themes with special Day Camp events that involve all of day camp.

Drop-off:      8 AM (Mon - Fri)
Cost:          $35 per week

Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to register for this service. Only those pre-registered may drop off children prior to 8:45 AM.

Day camp programs are held weekly from Monday thru Friday, June 23 to August 15, 2008.  Check-in for those who have pre-registered* for weekly programs is held on Mondays between 8 - 8:45 am. Tuesday - Friday drop-off begins at 8:45am. Pick-up begins at 4:45pm after all of the day campers have enjoyed time with the camp pastor, counselors and each other, sharing and closing the day camp with a time of prayer.  Pick-up ends at 5pm.
From the time that they are signed in in the morning, our highly-trained staff will ensure that they have an active, fun day on our vast property. There are many activity options to choose from each day and the campers make these decisions in their camper groups for that day.
Our staff is made up of a mixture of international and American staff.  All staff are committed Christians with a passion for working with young people. Background checks are on file for every employee to ensure the safety of all campers on camp.   We are committed to creating a safe environment where young people can enjoy good, safe fun.  Camp is operated every day ~ rain or shine.

*So that we have ample time to plan our camp programs no 'walk-in' registrations are accepted.

Service from & to Division Road in Warwick (Located in the parking area next to McDonald's across from the Showcase Cinemas).

Pick-up:      8:20 am
Drop-off:      5:20 pm
Cost:          $55 per week
